The other day I saw an episode on debt collectors done by the TV show Dateline and I learned something interesting. When a debt collector calls telling you the cops are on their way, it's a lie, because I saw a woman talking with her hand on the phone receiver threatening the caller with police coming to get her if she didn't pay up.
